Marketed as a clutter-free, true drag-and-drop page builder, Brizy makes a strong case as one of the most effective, easy-to-use, and affordable page builders on the market today.
In our Brizy page builder review, we found that the Brizy page builder competes and even beats out some of the biggest competitors.
We take a deep dive into the features, pricing, and customer support resources in this Brizy page builder review, so keep reading to figure out if Brizy is the optimal solution for your web design needs.
Brizy Page Builder Review: The Top Features
From stunning templates to popups and visual contact forms, Brizy packs a flurry of features into its main pricing plans. Not to mention, you can still take advantage of most content-building elements with the free plugin.
Having said that, take a look at the list below to get a feel for our favorite Brizy features.
A Clutter-free Drag-and-drop Builder With Real-time Editing
During our testing, we found the Brizy page builder to offer intuitive design controls, along with a quick button for editing any page or post within your website.
Once inside the page builder, it provides a clean interface with only a few buttons to choose from on the left menu panel and the lower right-hand corner.
You can quickly place content elements on a page or select from the large library of prebuilt templates. Each element inside a template (whether you make the template or use a prebuilt one) can move anywhere on the page.
For instance, you can click on an image or paragraph to edit that content or drag it to a different part of your website.
We found minimal lag and powerful drag-and-drop functionality where you’re not limited to the places in which you can put a content element.
Simply click and hold on an element and drag it in place. Along with the header and footer builders, Brizy helps with editing every part of your website, with few limitations on where those edits happen.
As you can see, we quickly moved one of the icon elements to its rightful place, all with a quick click and drag.
What’s more, is that Brizy offers settings for each unique content module. Select a paragraph module to see settings for bolding or reformatting the text.
Choose an image module to resize the photo or change around its filter.
From top to bottom, Brizy looks like one of the easiest-to-use page builders, especially when compared to some of the more cluttered page builders where it truly takes a more advanced user to understand.
Thousands of Content Elements
The primary content elements in Brizy allow for building pages with items like text, buttons, and images.
Some other blocks include:
- Embed codes
The free plan includes the vast majority of the basic content modules, but the advanced functionality comes into play when you upgrade to the Pro page builder.
Brizy provides over 4,000 vector icons for livening up your designs. It also has smart, versatile buttons for mobile devices and linking to popup windows.
You’re able to reorder every block you place into the design and choose from a collection of pre-designed blocks or collections of blocks made to generate a full webpage.
The blocks and content elements make for a sleek design process, especially when making quick sites for clients, or if you’re not familiar with any coding languages.
Beautiful Templates and Layout Packs for Blocks, Landing Pages, and More
The page templates typically begin your design process, seeing as how they offer configurations suitable for full websites.
Therefore, you can click one of the templates, add it to your website, and launch the new design within a matter of minutes.
They’re categorized into Layouts and Blocks, where the layouts are full web pages ready to go for your use inside your designs.
The Blocks are similar to the content blocks we talked about before, except these are also predesigned so that you don’t have to configure the settings yourself.
For instance, the library offers blocks with forms and buttons and images, all formatted and nicely placed so that you don’t have to complete any of the work yourself.
When clicking on a layout, you’ll see that some have multiple page layouts available, making it easy to design a complete website as opposed to just the homepage.
The layout below, for example, offers an About page, Pricing page, and Contact page, along with the regular homepage.
Feel free to install all of these pages to make a complete website or simply go with one of the layouts. It’s possible to mix-and-match pages from different layouts as well.
Editing Views for Mobile Phones, Tablets, and Desktop Computers
Another benefit we found in the Brizy page builder review is its ability to edit and view your design from a tablet or mobile screen size.
All you have to do is switch the preview size to see how your website appears if someone were to look at it with a tablet or smartphone.
You can then go in and edit specific elements unique to the mobile designs, making for a rather mobile-friendly design experience.
Visual Contact Forms and Popups
One downside of many page builders is that you typically must create your contact forms in another module, or sometimes a completely different plugin.
You generate fields and overlaying text for the form in the dashboard, removing the benefits of a frontend editor.
That’s not the case with Brizy. The page builder offers content modules for contact forms, all of which have editing tools right on the frontend builder.
Therefore, you can click on a field and adjust its size or purpose. It also lets you format the entire form or choose from contact form layouts to minimize the design work.
In addition, several popup modules come standard in the Pro versions of Brizy. The content block library has a decent selection of prebuilt popup window designs, ranging from email collection forms to promotional messages.
What’s great about these popups is that you can edit every part of the design in the frontend page builder. Not to mention, Brizy has a feature for linking to a popup window from a button on your homepage.
This way, the customer doesn’t have to go through multiple steps, or jump to a new page, to sign up for your email newsletter or get a promotional offer.
The Option to Turn Any Block Into a Slider
The popups and frontend contact forms appear rather unique to Brizy. And yet another feature is provided that’s hard to find anywhere else.
We’re talking about a little setting added to each block that turns the block into a slider. This way, you can take a series or icons, some images, or paragraph blocks and instantly change the content inside that block into a moving slider.
Although it may not apply to some designs, the slider features add a bit of style and effect to various parts of your website, especially if you run out of space and would rather utilize a slider to show a revolving door of information.
Saved and Global Blocks
Another reason to get excited about Brizy is due to the saved and global blocks. Much like the slider feature from the previous section, you can click on any block on your website and make it global or save it for later.
Turning a block into a global asset requires you to type in display conditions to ensure it appears elsewhere on your site without any problems.
You can also take advantage of the saved blocks to speed up your workflows and place your own block designs on other websites or pages.
Full Website Building With Header and Footer Control
More often than not, page builders take control of the content areas but leave the headers and footers, making it difficult, or impossible, to edit those areas of your website.
In our opinion, that’s not a full website page builder, since you’re left with few options to customize your headers and footers, unless you’re skilled with coding.
Brizy, on the other hand, provides blocks made just for editing your headers and footers. They come in the form of content blocks, but they override the current headers you have on your WordPress theme.
This way, every part of the header is customizable, from the logo to the menu bar, and the social media buttons to the slide-in mobile menus.
The footers are no different. Brizy includes a section of footer blocks in its library for you to choose and override what’s already offered with your theme.
Once inserted, you have all the tools you need to change elements like social buttons and links to support documentation.
Numerous Marketing Integrations
During our Brizy page builder review, we discovered that the powerful page builder also provides integrations with some of the most popular third-party marketing tools.
The list goes on, with options to connect with YouTube, Google Maps, Yoast SEO, and more. These integrations function similarly to apps on your phone, where you install the integration and utilize the several content blocks that come with that combination.
As an example, you could add a Google Map in your Brizy layout by merging with the Google Maps platform.
A Powerful Cloud Platform
The Brizy Cloud platform empowers you to save parts of your website and layouts on a remote server. You can then access those elements in the cloud and use them on other sites or simply for redesigning what you already have.
The cloud feature presents an incredible advantage over other page builders, seeing as how you can log into your cloud account and work strictly from that interface.
All of your assets get saved inside the cloud server, along with any layouts you plan on making global or copying over to other sites.
It’s particularly useful for web agencies and multi-site users, with its ability to transfer previously saved blocks and layouts to other websites.
A Review of the Brizy Page Builder User Interface
To give you an example of how easy it is to use the Brizy page builder, we’ll take a look at the first few steps required to construct a page, complete your website, and publish it for the world to see.
To begin, you navigate to any page or post in WordPress. A Brizy button shows up to either start editing the page/post or continue editing with Brizy.
After that, you can either build a page from scratch or scroll through the constantly growing collection of layouts, many of which turn your entire site into a professional-looking website.
We recommend upgrading to Pro to find the true power of Brizy layouts and templates. You can then take a layout and use its multiple page designs for things like About Us pages and Contact Us forms.
Finally, that brings you to the frontend drag-and-drop page builder. Your layout selection appears for editing, and you can always click on the Elements tab to incorporate even more versatile modules in your design.
Overall, Brizy’s user interface is more than appealing. It minimizes distractions, offers customization options for headers, footers, and forms, and enables you to save all designs for later use.
Brizy Page Builder Review: Pricing
Brizy offers a free version of its plugin with limited features but enough functionality to test out the page builder and potentially use it for small jobs.
The free version includes the drag-and-drop editor, real-time editing, and a mobile-optimized interface. You also receive items like WordPress templates, email integration, and the standard 26 builder elements.
Here’s a list of all Brizy plans to consider:
- Free – $0 for the drag-and-drop editor, 26 builder elements, sliders, global blocks, vector icons, email integration, WordPress templates, WordPress Leads, and more.
- Personal – $49 per year for all Pro features, over 250 premium designs, one year of updates and support, access to Brizy Cloud Personal, and support for up to three sites. Some Pro features include Google Maps styling, image and video filters, and a popup builder.
- Studio – $99 per year for all Pro features, over 250 premium designs, one year of updates and support, and access to Brizy Cloud Studio. You can also put the plugin on as many sites as you want. We like this plan the most for client work.
- Lifetime – $299 one time payment gets you everything in the Studio plan, white-label features, lifetime updates and support, and two years of unlimited hosting. You also get the Brizy Cloud platform access.
Brizy has a 30-day risk-free guarantee for you to test out the page builder and get your money back if it’s not what you want.
In addition, all websites you previously built with Brizy remain functional if you eventually decide to stop the yearly payments for Brizy support and updates.
It’s also nice to see that you can upgrade to a lifetime plan from a yearly plan and only pay the difference from what you’ve already paid.
From a pricing comparison perspective, Brizy is in line with Elementor, seeing as how they both start at $49 per year for the premium versions.
They also both have free plans. Even some of the higher plans are almost exactly the same prices.
This makes Brizy one of the most affordable page builders on the market, undercutting alternatives like Thrive Architect ($228 per year), Beaver Builder ($99 per year), and the Themify Builder ($69 per year).
A Review of the Brizy Page Builder Customer Support
Customer support for most page builders usually includes options like a ticketed email support system and some online documentation.
We know Brizy provides support for all Pro plans, and that support continues if you upgrade each year, or if you opt for the lifetime plan (which gets you customer support for life).
As for the type of support provided, Brizy has two pages on its website: one for Video Tutorials and another that leads you to the Help Center.
The Video Tutorials page simply leads you to the company’s YouTube page. This is an excellent resource considering Brizy has hundreds of well-made videos on that channel, with topics ranging from how to create a multi-language website to building a blog with Brizy.
It’s also worth mentioning that Brizy offers a Facebook page in case you’d rather get in touch with the company through social media, or at least read up on some interesting posts.
As for contacting Brizy directly, you can reach out to the customer support team via email. Unfortunately, that’s the only option you have available, as Brizy skips the live chat and phone line routes.
There are, however, several ways to complete your own research with resources listed online, from articles to community forums where people discuss situations with Brizy and get moderator support during the conversations.
The Help Center offers an area to type in a keyword and reveal articles that apply to that keyword. Some primary categories include Affiliates and Partners, the Brizy Builder, and Brizy Cloud.
The Brizy Community Forum offers yet another way to seek out answers to your problems, while also interacting with other Brizy users.
We recommend using this section as a way to either solve your current problems (browsing through the forum history) or to post your own questions.
It appears Brizy has some forum moderators for an expert take on the forum discussions. But you’ll also see plenty of responses from other Brizy users trying to help you out.
When compared to other page builders, Brizy could definitely improve its direct customer support options, with maybe a live chat box or a phone number for customers to call in and speak to a real person.
The online resources hold up, though. We’re impressed by the extensive collection of videos on the YouTube channel, and you can’t go wrong with an active user forum where you chat with other people using the same software as you.
The Pros and Cons From Our Brizy Page Builder Review
After a thorough review, we’ve come to several conclusions about Brizy, some of which are good, while others could use some work.
- Brizy offers a complete drag-and-drop frontend builder, with areas to edit your footers, headers, and contact forms, all from the visual editor.
- It has a solid free version for those with limited page builder needs. In addition, the Pro pricing beats out almost every other page builder on the market, besides Elementor (the pricing is about the same for Elementor).
- The user interface offers a simple and uncluttered design, especially when compared to the competition, which often fills the screen with way too many buttons.
- It offers more unique features than most page builders. These include cloud services, popup builders, and landing page templates.
- You gain access to a large library of layouts for instantly making landing pages, websites, and forms.
- You can choose the lifetime plan to get the payments out of the way and still receive updates and support well into the future.
- Although the online resources appear strong, Brizy lacks dedicated customer support options like a chatbox or phone line.
- You’re blocked from some of the cooler features in the free version, like header and footer editing. We wouldn’t expect them to give this all away for free, but a few basic blocks would be nice for free – at least to get a feel for how it works.
Conclusion: Is Brizy Page Builder Right for You?
Brizy makes sense for agencies and web designers with a need for a simplified page-building experience.
Not to mention, the Brizy Cloud interface makes for a wonderful place to save your designs and use them elsewhere.
We like Brizy for those who need a free page builder and are willing to upgrade to the more than affordable Pro version. It’s less expensive than most page builders out there, and you get beautiful templates and content blocks.
The only reason to skip Brizy is if you’re in need of more personalized customer support.
